Wildwood's staff utilizes its experience in the industry to create thorough, accurate, and quality drawings to make the building process as easy as possible. Fees are very competitive with other companies offering similar services, and all plans are designed according to the IRC (International Residential Code).

A set of construction drawings from Wildwood Drafting & Design, LLC consists of the following:

Cover Sheet
Customer information, legends, square footages, index, design loads, and other general information pertaining to the plan set.

Elevations
Exterior views of the structure, floor elevations dimensioned, exterior finish materials illustrated and noted, roof pitches specified.

Foundation Plan
Footing specifications, foundation wall, pier or column sizes and locations, girder locations, joist and subfloor information, exterior and interior dimensions, general notes concerning foundation requirements.

First Floor Plan
Exterior dimensions provided, locations of all exterior doors and windows are dimensioned, room names, fixtures, electrical layout (lights, switches, and outlets), window and door sizes, layout of the structure is illustrated.

First Floor Wall Framing Plan
All interior walls dimensioned, support beams and columns located, load-bearing walls identified, section cut locations indicated, and general wall framing information provided.

Second Floor Plan and Wall Framing Plan (if applicable)
Exterior dimensions provided, locations of all exterior doors and windows are dimensioned, room names, fixtures, electrical layout (lights, switches, and outlets), window and door sizes, layout of the structure is illustrated.  All interior walls dimensioned, support beams and columns located, load-bearing walls identified, section cut locations indicated, and general wall framing information provided.

Floor Framing Plans
Joist layout and information for all floors and ceilings are provided.

Roof Plan / Roof Framing Plan
An overhead plan view of the roof showing slope direction.  Rafter, ridge, hip, and valley layouts, and general roof framing information.

Cross Sections
Full cross sections cut through the structure illustrating how the individual structural components connect to each other to create the frame of the structure.  Connections are keyed to enlarged details on the Details page, roof pitches are specified, subfloor elevations are dimensioned.

Details
Enlarged details illustrating special connections that are required at key locations.  The number of details included depends on the complexity of the structure.
